VISION KEYNOTE

Redefining What it Means to be “Old”

Tuesday, August 11
4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

The global implications of a rapidly aging world coupled with a dramatic increase in life-expectancy demands that nonprofit leaders look beyond the traditional and expected to define new models for education, redesign how we work, advise new policies for health care, housing, the environment and financial security, and promote more intergenerational partnerships.

Join us as we envision a society that supports people to live satisfying, engaged, and high-quality lives for a century or more!

LAURA CARSTENSEN

Dr. Carstensen is a professor of psychology and public policy at Stanford University, where she is the founding director of the Stanford Center on Longevity, which explores innovative ways to solve the problems of people over 50 and improve the well-being of people of all ages.
