At the 2019 LeadingAge Leadership Summit, thought leaders from both inside and outside the aging services field came together to take part in mission-critical conversations addressing what’s happening in our complex, often chaotic world and how we can effectively respond to a variety of market forces impacting us. Over the course of three days, influencers with a variety of perspectives discussed market disruptors, explored new business models and partnership opportunities, weighed the viability of new technologies, and stayed abreast of policies impacting how you care for older adults.

We drew on examples from business, advocacy and consumer culture—and we studied organizations that are succeeding in the more open, participatory and peer-driven world in which we’re operating. This summit is one of the most valuable networking events in the field of aging, connecting influential leaders with the knowledge and relationships needed to better understand the world—and more importantly, our role in it.

At LeadingAge events, I’ve met people with all different perspectives and have created a vast network to turn to when I need advice or guidance.  These relationships truly help me be a better leader for my staff, my residents and my greater community.
