As many of today’s headlines highlight the economic activity generated by a growing number of older Americans, much of the aging conversation is shifting away from a “burden on society” to the opportunity of the longevity market - the predominant question that arises is, “how can aging services providers evolve to meet the demand for innovation that lies ahead?”
But, if we focus more deeply on the health and economic diversity this group of consumers represents and the convergence of demographics, financial resources and underserved markets – would we challenge our perception about what older adults’ value? Would we gain a new appreciation for the individuality of the aging experience? Would we question conventional wisdom about the role of LeadingAge members in the near and long-term?
The 2020 Leadership Summit will bring together leaders from across the LTSS continuum to address these questions through a variety of lenses.
